A Primarily Field Based Program
Rookery Bay Coastal Training offers Coastal Considerations for Professionals for organizations, businesses or groups interested in developing knowledge to support decision-making on the job related to the following goals:
- Increase understanding of the environmental, economic, human health, and social value of Rookery Bay and coastal resources,
- Increase understanding of the value and purpose of watersheds and protected lands,
- Identify and discuss balancing the needs of humans and the needs of natural systems with a focus on personal and professional decision making.
This program is primarily field based and takes place on the water, including a visit to Keewaydin Island.
